Stuart's Bosch Tassimo Hot Drinks Machine Forum

The ORANGE light stays illuminated and will not go to the GREEN automatic light. The Bar code reader is clean, the Microswitch when touched lights up the Bar code reader (RED light) but it will still not work when a T-Disc/Service disc is inserted. Waiting to hear back from Tassimo whether the machine is still under Warranty but would this Microswitch be easy to repair or will it be the Bar code scanner that needs replacing?

It sounds like the micro switch is working ok if the barcode reader illuminates when it is pressed. I haven't heard of the barcode reader going faulty. Another possibility is that the controlling circuitry has developed a fault. These machines are not generally intended to be repaired but rather replaced when they go wrong. Depending upon how long you have had the machine you do right to try to claim under warranty.
