Wondering if you can help me. I'm a struggling to fix my tassimo t40.
When running the machine lots of water almost 3/4 of the water is not coming down the spout it is actually coming out of the bottom tray from what I think is the over spill?
I have taken the left side of the machine off (very difficult may I add :)).
It seems to me the water that would run through the capsule to put the coffee in is coming down the spout. The rest of the hot water is just coming down the over spill? The machine gets quite wet round where the capsule would go in.

I descaled it last night but still having the same problem.

Hi,

I believe the water directed into the tray is steam condensate which has not been able to go through the normal spout at the top. This suggests a blockage.

The spout is removable and then you should be easy to see clearly if it is blocked. If it is, it can be cleaned quite easily. Have a look at page 21 of the user guide (see link at bottom of http://www.stuartdalby.co.uk/miscellaneous/tassimo_repair ).
