Hi,

I have just been reading your post (https://www.stuartdalby.co.uk/vw_gte/charge_port_door_lock/) regarding the locking device on the GTE charging point as I have the same issue, when I search for the part number you identify I am getting results with a B suffix such as this: 5GE810773B
Did the part you were supplied have this suffix?

Hi Mike,

The invoice for the new part stated "5GE810773B". I'm not sure if the B was actually printed on the actuator itself. It wasn't on the original part.

I believe the suffixes on part numbers represent different versions. On simple parts like these, I think you can ignore them.
